Our Edinburgh City Centre Serviced self-catering Apartment is located less than one mile from the High Street (Royal Mile) and within walking distance of the Castle and Edinburgh’s other historic tourist attractions. There are many restaurants and a small supermarket situated within a 4 minute walk. Private designated parking for one car.
The apartment is serviced daily from 11:00 am by the host.
Accommodation is for up to four people in one double and one double/twin (no children under 7yrs). The apartment is designed to offer the highest standard of comfort with a modern ambience that blends well with the high ceilings and room proportions of a converted Victorian property.
The apartment consists of one twin room (two single beds) and two double rooms with king sized beds. One of the double rooms has en-suite facilities while the other double room/twin room share the family bathroom. The Apartment is let on an occupancy basis of a maximum of four people in either two double rooms or a double and a twin room.
There is a fully fitted kitchen with a dining table for up to six people and a large sitting room with a triple and a double sofa.The apartment is wi-fi enabled.
The apartment is located within a secure gated complex with dedicated parking spaces and direct access to the rear door of the accommodation. It retains many of the period features including the arched entrance to the secure parking area and communal garden. The apartment can also be accessed through a main door directly from Gilmore Place via a communal hallway.

There is one small step into the apartment. It is easily accessible for people with mobility difficulties.

Whether approaching from North, South or West, the easiest way to give directions to anybody arriving in the City for the first time, is by way of the city by- pass which creates the landward boundary. The by-pass is numbered the A720 and gives connections to all of the city’s arterial routes.
The most convenient way to reach the apartment is the A702. Leaving the by-pass by this route you should follow the signs for the City Centre. Stay on this main road all the way into the city until you see the castle on the horizon and you approach the Kings Theatre on your right. The Kings Theatre is an important landmark for you, as this is where you turn immediately left into Gilmore Place (the street sign also bears the name Lochrin Buildings). The apartment is accessed via Hailes Street which is first on the left.

The number 10 & 27 bus routes are along Gilmore Place, both buses stopping approximately twenty meters before the apartment. These buses can be caught in either Princes Street (10) or in Hanover Street (27) in the City Centre.

The journey into the city from the Airport can be made via one of the frequent Airport buses, City Tram, No 35 bus or directly by taxi.
